“You’ve been  watching a blerd speak, on Blerd Speak!”

Blerd Speak is an upcoming collection of video broadcasts and online spaces created under ZAMA Creative, my personal media brand. At launch, this will include three YouTube channels. Blerd Speak main channel features general nerd, melanated video essays. Blerd Speaks Tunes and Blerd Speaks Sci-Fi will accompany as separate, carved out supplementary spaces dedicated to those respective passions. Blerd Speaks EDC (Don Os), Blerd Speaks Anime will both likely see early 2027 releases, with Blerd Speaks Mental Health, Blerd Speaks Analog, Blerd Speaks TCGs and Blerd Speaks TTRPGs further unannounced plans. The Back Log & Can He Clear It? will starter streams focusing on games I’ve yet to bet, and mastering games I have beaten respectively.

You may encounter me in an online game lobby with the username “BlerdSpeak.” It felt like a natural evolution from older handles like “Arm of Justice” and “HaloBoy456.” I’m Black, I’m a nerd—the calculus seems clear.

Or Simplified…

∫ f(nerd) dnerd = Blerd Speak😄

More than just a name, Blerd Speak represents a prism through which my varied shades and special interests come into view. Sometimes you might stay for a Dragon Ball video essay, and other times, you may want to skip directly to the acapella cover reactions. Intersectional nerd problems, indeed. This moniker encapsulates the nexus of my identity and passions, channeling them into a cohesive brand of personal expression.

Blerd Speak • Main Channel

The main Blerd Speak channel is a catch-all space for video essays exploring coding trends, gaming culture, anime reflections, and analog tech love letters. This is where all my eclectic musings will land—organized neatly into playlists so you can navigate what interests you most.

Numbers and metrics are not the goal here. This channel is a true reflection of my whims, a space for explorations unbound by algorithms or expectations.

Blerd Speaks Tunes • Preview

Music has been one of my first and enduring loves. Blerd Speaks Tunes! is a channel dedicated to celebrating harmonic bliss. While I’m deeply biased toward acapella music, my musical tastes extend across genres, with rhythm and blues taking the top spot. 🎙️🎷🎺

As a certified Pentaholic (if you know, you know), I aim to share first-time reactions to auditory sensations alongside original content. Reaction videos will only be posted a week after original material has gone live, ensuring a steady mix of creative output and shared discoveries.

Blerd Speaks Sci-Fi • Preview

Space is scary. And Black and brown folks be in space. Now I am no fan of Firefly Come on it’s lead actor. He and his crew did a damned good job of portraying a motley crew of individuals just struggling to make ends meet and get by in the world. That is some Blerd Speak movements right there. These video essays focus on the same negritude that the Afro-diasporic community shows all the time that’s witnessed in some of our favorite sci-fi media.

Blerd Speaks • Mental Health

This online space is dedicated to my musings, observations, and reflections on mental health—both broadly and within my personal journey. I often find myself reflecting on the lives of my peers, friends, family, and the wider spectrum of sentient experience. How we conduct our affairs often reveals what we value, what we neglect, and what we take for granted.

I am no expert, though I have professional experience and training in educational executive functioning. What I share here is not doctrine but personal insight, drawn from the esoteric manifestations of my mental health journey—those that surface in both triumph and tumult.

Blerd Streams
"Blerd Streams" Is the online broadcast space in which I attempt to complete my childhood backlog of video games yet completed, Master the ones that I have, and finish ones acquired during my adulthood. All of them. Or as many as my thumbs and patience will allow.

Blerd Speaks Anime
"Blerd Speaks Anime" Is the online video essay space in which I share my more eclectic positions some might consider to be untenable. Goku is a Republican. Vegeta is a conservative. I'm sorry but this is just a matter of record. Take it up with your local Kai.

Blerd Speaks TCGs
"Blerd Speaks TCGs" is a nostalgia trip taking us back to my Yu-Gi-Oh card game past. I'll also be learning new games and constructing decks with the most memeable themes. A deck almost exclusively full of Trap Cards? Why not? Who said winning was the goal?

Blerd Speaks TTRPGs
"Blerd Speaks TTRPGs" are for those moments when the card games are not enough. You have to have a game in which there can be a card game, A rogue that steals your wallet after cheating at said card game, with no shop judge. Also Dragons. We talk table top games here.

Blerd Streams • The Back Log

I love playing video games. Over the last 10 years, I’ve captured choice moments of collective gaming, and here are a few snapshots from those adventures. Some come from early test-streams on the Blerd Speak Twitch channel dating back to 2014, sporadic experiments that have stretched across the past decade. In 2025, those tests come to an end. It’s time to go live.

Besides, my gaming backlog is massive, and not every title needs an accompanying video essay. That said, I’ll be kicking things off with a specific new series, one that has been long in the making. Let me make it clear: we’re bringing some of my gaming history full circle.

Blerd Streams •  Can He Clear It?

It has been years since I was at my gaming peak—high school, to be exact. This series will challenge me to not only replicate the achievements I accomplished back then but surpass them. Halo 2 campaign on Heroic difficulty (Legendary can wait a bit)? Halo 3 campaign actually on Legendary this time? Can I hit Level 50 or higher in Halo 3 or Reach multiplayer (I played a lot of Halo back in the day)? These are the questions this inaugural series will tackle.

But it doesn’t stop at Halo. This series will be my chance to retrace my entire gaming journey, covering as much of my history as possible before tackling the backlog—always at the highest difficulty.
